Park your car at Ann Morrison Park and take a shuttle to Barber Park where you will put in. Rentals are available or bring your own tube or other flotation device. Good news, they recently announced another location in Meridian which means you’ll never be too far from a cool treat.
3.) Roaring Springs
Would summer really be complete without visiting a water park? Roaring springs has it all: wave pool, lazy river, and plenty of slides. Parents can monitor kids while sitting in the shade under a cabana. It’s the kind of place you’re gonna wanna spend the whole day. 4.) Settlers Park Splash Pad
Of course you could always pay to go so a pool but why do that when you can visit Settlers Park splash pad for FREE. It’s an activity that is sure to be popular with the kiddos, let them run wild through the water and toys. Splash pads are a great option for kids of all ages and abilities. The splash park is typically open memorial day to labor day. Just don’t forget to bring the sunscreen, we have a feeling you’ll wanna stay there for a while.
5.) Lucky Peak
Lucky Peak Lake is a reservoir along the Boise River. The crystal blue water is refreshing on a hot summer day. Bring your boat and enjoy wakeboarding, water skiing, or other water sports. Just a short 10 minute drive from Boise and you’ll be swimming in no time while enjoying the breathtaking views and fresh mountain air.
